Now "THAT" was what I call funny .....excellent addition to the thread!
Although, never having been to the resort (9 days and counting), I may have a difficult time facing Alejandro the first time we meet (thanks for that image lily). That should bring new meaning to "eggs sunny side up".......

Of course he is real ....... Alejandro is always around and willing to do anything to help us vacationers have fun  . Last time I saw him he was riding the Lazy River while trying to teach Rovie how to write |

Interesting concept Snorkels, too bad it would be like having a blind seeing eye dog to lead a blind person around a fine china shop.....you just can't teach some people, especially when it is so obvious that they "ain't got no good learn'n"  .
I just got back from the airport, our friends are heading down to the resort this morning  , to get things ready for our arrival next Searday , I can hardly wait to see the place. It was 28C (in the 80`sF)at 4:30 this morning on the beach, sure beats here.
I hope there are no signs of Rovie left when we get there.

playa del carmen by bus 3 bucks taxi 50 us bucks return
one reason to use front gate
i dont snorkle sorry
but i do travel around the area a lot
did tulum its ok but chicen much better to see
most shopping is in playa del carmen
and food is terrible at resort room service menu is tiny and not eatable
pizzas only good for rat bait fruit plate green
\staff at the entire resort is five star
you cant get into exclusive restaurants with out concierge who is into time share guests only
do playa del carmen and cozmel tons of outside things to do and eat and competition is amazing

who is canadain and travles around mexico 2 months a year and never has had such a bad experience
room was so damp all of our clothes had to be professionally cleaned
when we got home
pool so cold you could not use it and yes room 1840 is close to small breakfrast and steakhouse restaurant and a short half mile to beach there are shuttles if your a time share guest |

i not sure............. but i know that building 18 is not 1/2 mile to the beach. it's like 3 minutes if you go through building 19 perhaps he went to the beach near the lazy river and snack bar by way of the mayan beach resort lol
ya gotta just laugh eh? he keeps mentioning room 1840 perhaps he read that on a review? just a thought

Regardless of how tiny the menu was, you shouldn't have tried to eat it in the first place! Paper and plastic are NOT suposed to be consumed!
