Grand Sirenis Review - by the site creator
The Beach is in a cove type shape with rock formations in the center as well as on either side of then edges. The it has white sand which a decent amount of shells and coral in the sand. Water shoes are not a bad idea. We generally were fine without just watch were you step.

Birds eye view from one of the buildings

There is good snorkeling and decent reefs right in front of the resort.
There is lots to be seen right close to shore and around the rocks /ruins.
We ventured out past the rope you may need to for more fish. I saw a squid/octopus who I chanced around with my camera but he hid in a crevices (pic was to dark :( ... )
Ill try to post the shot of the barracuda later once i scan it.
There are alot of neat rock formations right in front on the beach

These are just a few cool angles i found/took shots of.

Also in between these rocks i found a lot of fish through some of the cracks as well as another squid!

When the water is a little rougher just be careful not to get pushed in the rocks or coral!

One of the Beach watch towers

Cool shot from the far left side of the cove.

The far left side isn’t as developed as the rest of the beach, but was a nice place to go for a walk.
An old (original) ruin up on one the rock formation in the center of the cove, I’m not 100% sure what it was used for.. I heard one girl say it was a "light house" and a another "gun tower" type hut so not 100% sure.

Different shot of the ruin.

For the most part the water had small waves but the cover part was more or less calm. on the beach they had seadoos to rent for 50$/h us. This didn’t really help the snorkeling situation but everyone took them out pretty far.
Snorkeling gear was included for a certain time period per use. We brought our own so not exactly sure what the duration was.
Kayaks are also available free of charge.

Waves on one of the windy afternoons

Nice size waves building with the wind

They had a snorkel with the turtles excursion which lasts about an hour in which they take you to a reef with tons of turtles I believe the cost was 45$ us and u were there for about 45 min. they had 3 or 4 of theses per day.
There was a free scuba diving "try it out" in the pool every day from 10 am til 12 ish
They generally try to peak your interest so that you will take there discover scuba course which is about 60$ and an hour in shallow water at the beach. then there was anohter level where they would take you out off the boat after the discovery course or if u had your open water certification.

While walking down to the beach we noticed a shell moving, upon closer inspection a little crab poked out and started crawling around.
we zoomed in and got a couple shots of the little guy. he’s kind of shy if u move past him to fast, he will jet back into his shell.

Well on to the Food!
